For the Malarkey brothers, a return to their home state has long called. Brian Malarkey is many things, father, celebrity chef, restauranteur, rancher, but before any of these he is a boy from the country in Oregon. Likewise, James has a penchant for the outdoors and the free open spaces of Oregon. James has spent his career as a successful entrepreneur and marketer. After biding their time for years, finally, they have found the right opportunity to do something amazing and make themselves part of the fabric of a place they love. This has manifested in the form of Hawkeye & Huckleberry Lounge, where the brothers bring a slice of their Central Oregon ranching heritage to Bend.

Our 'modern cowboy' restaurant & bar with its wood-fired oven, semi-private canvas tent dining, and a vibrant outdoor patio, perfectly embodies Oregon's majestic outdoors. The menu, deeply rooted in ranch-to-plate traditions, showcases beef & produce from our nearby Tumalo ranch. With an onsite butcher shop and smoker, we make use of the entire animal, offering high-quality steaks, creative dishes, and plenty of options with friendly pricing.

Hawkeye & Huckleberry Lounge also serves as a dynamic venue for private events, from intimate dinners to grand celebrations.
